William Wood, age 66, a resident of El Salto, passed away unexpectedly on November18, 2023. A longtime Taos area resident known for his progressive politics, quiet decency and wearing shorts no matter how low the temperature, died last month at his home in Arroyo Seco. He was 66. The cause was complications caused by Covid. Born May 7, 1957, William Pierson Wood was the son of Kay and James Wood, a newspaper man.
