On February 20th, 2024, William ("Bill") U. Hooper Jr passed away due to complications from covid. He was 96 years old. Raised in Mt. Washington, Bill graduated from St. Paul's School in 1947. There he captained three sports. In 1951, he graduated from the University of Virginia, where he was a four time lacrosse All American.
