William Joseph Rafferty passed away on July 23, 2022 from Covid pneumonia. He left this life peacefully and family had been with him for several days.

Bill was born on January 31, 1933 in Montclair, NJ to parents Frances Mary (Stefani) Rafferty and William Benedict Rafferty. He graduated high school in 1950 from Seton Hall Prep in South Orange, NJ where he played all sports and was a passing half back on the state championship football team in 1950. He attended Seton Hall University where he graduated in 1954 with a business degree in marketing and a virtual philosophy minor.
