Wayne "Mike" Michael Smith, 79, of Lynchburg, Va., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021, with his family at his bed side, after a long battle with Covid-19. He was born on June 19, 1941 in Monroe, Va. He was the oldest son of the late Benjamin Lafayette Smith and Elsie McIvor Smith of Monroe Virginia.
