Robert Leo Hamilton passed away on September 22, 2023 after fighting COVID-19 and pneumonia for almost two months. He was born on August 9, 1935 in Boston, MA a few minutes after his identical twin brother, Jackie. He grew up in Kingston, MA and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a physicist. He worked for the U.S. Naval Ordinance Ship Research Laboratory as a reliability expert/engineer on U.S. Navy ships and submarines. Robert and his wife, Joan, lived in Bowie and Crofton, MD before eventually settling in Millsboro, DE.
