Beloved father, husband, and friend Richard Walter Tynes Jr passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in Norfolk, Virginia at the age of 75.
Richard was born on June 17, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia, to Richard W. Tynes Sr. (father) and Mattie White Tynes (mother), both now deceased. He grew up in a small but loving family as an only child. "Dickie" (as he was known) graduated from Hampton University and then received his JD from Howard University in 1968.
