Lynn Rae Kraus of Channahon, passed away after a hard-fought battle with Covid-19, despite having no pre-existing conditions at Morris Hospital. Born in Kankakee, IL, she was the daughter of Dennis and Joyce (nee Merriman) Klosterhoff.

Lynn grew up in Joliet, Illinois. She was a graduate of Joliet West High School, Class of 1971. She proudly raised three children and married her beloved husband, Tom, in 1993. Lynn worked at Family Practice Consultants for over 20 years and Oswalt General Surgery for the last 5 years as a healthcare receptionist.

Lynn was a devoted daughter to her mother, a selfless mother to her children, and a loving Nana to her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also loved shopping and hosting family dinners. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, and she was the world's best gift giver. Her greatest joy, however, was her grandchildren.
