John Koepsell returned to his Lord and Savior on August 26, 2022, at the age of 99 after a short bout with COVID. He was born on April 16, 1923, and raised in Mayville, Wisconsin, the second child of Martha (Quandt) and Edwin Koepsell. He graduated from Mayville High School at 17, worked for a year to earn tuition money, and left for the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in the fall of 1941.
