James (Jim) Alvin Foote, 84, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 after a 13-year battle with Alzheimer's disease and a short battle with Covid. He was born in DeRidder, Louisiana on April 11, 1939. Jim graduated from Marion High School in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He then enlisted in the US Navy.
