On Tuesday, May 5th 2020, Edward Henry, a retired FDNY Battalion Chief (40th Battalion) and 9/11 survivor from Brooklyn, passed away at the age of 79 due to COVID-19 complications resulting from an underlying illness. He was welcomed into eternal life and is now reunited with his son, Firefighter Joseph Patrick Henry, who perished on September 11, 2001 and was never recovered.
