CANTON - David Ralph Chaddock, 75, of Canton passed away peacefully, with his wife and two children by his side, after a hard fought battle with COVID-19.
He was born on May 21, 1945, in Canton to Ralph "Si" and Margaret (Smith) Chaddock. They preceded him in death.
He married Chrystal Freeman on November 24, 1987, in Canton. She survives.
David was the proud father of two children, Tanya (Mike) Anderson-Myers of Canton and Bill Groat of Pekin. He treasured his children and embraced every moment with them. He will be fondly remembered by his five cherished grandchildren, Logan, Teagan, Bentley, Faith and Jake; and by many nieces and nephews; along with his brother, Phillip (Ellen) Chaddock; and sister, Maralyn (Dale) Cleer.
