Coradell Hickman was born to Grover Cleveland and Cora Thacker in Gove, Kansas on July 22,1930. Coradell was one of seven children (Grover, Price, Annabell, Arlene, Mary and James). Coradell moved to Luray when she was 12 and graduated from Luray High School in 1948. During this time she met her future husband and love of her life, Clinton Hickman, also from Luray.
