Betty Penry Bennett, widow of Ben Pilcher Bennett and daughter of Minnie Davis Penry, and Samuel Fidus Penry, a life beautifully lived, went to her eternal home on February 1, 2021, after a short illness partially attributed to Covid. Her son, Robert Scott Bennett, survives. Mrs. Bennett was born on April 7, 1924 in Oak Ridge and her family moved to Winston-Salem later that year.
