Thinking of you and Missing you as it will be 5 years ago this December 2, 2025 that you transitioned from This Earth To Heaven. God has been Good to Me, and he's keeping me. He didn't bring me this far to leave me now. Thank You Lord Jesus 🙏❤️.

It is indeed heartbreaking to see so many people across the world have been victims of this disease including 5 members from our family. May their souls Rest In Peace.

Over 1 million US citizens gone and over 6.2 million worldwide. My one in a million was our 14 year old daughter Anna. My heart breaks more with every new death of a loved one, and every new person that denies the reality of how immense our loss is, and how much our health system will carry this burden for years to come. Many hugs and prayers to anyone new to this journey.

I am sorry to have to tell you that today the number of deaths recorded from Covid in the United States has surpassed 914,252, and it is hard to compute the sorrow contained in that grim statistic. The years of life lost, the family gatherings not attended and, for so many relatives, the missed chance even to say goodbye. I offer my deepest condolences to everyone who has lost a loved one; fathers and mothers; brothers and sisters; sons and daughters and the many grandparents who have been taken… I am deeply sorry for every life that has been lost. May their families and loved ones find peace. We have the tools and knowledge to bring this pandemic under control – if only we all would use them.

We lost our beautiful strong healthy PortugueseMother suddenly due to Covid. She fought breast cancer and won and was healthier than any of her kids most of the time. Her mind was sharp and she gave us the best advice and support any Mother could give. She was so very much loved, adored, treasured and our hearts are crushed. We didn’t get a chance to say proper goodbyes, proper memorial, and burial. She deserved the highest honor and sending away to be with the Lord. It was devastating watching our vibrant Mom go through this hell of a disease and we couldn’t be there to hold her hands, she couldn’t see how much we cared, prayed, begged, cried, pleaded for her return home. It’s all so shocking and unbelievable and we feel robbed as a family that we could still have our Matriarch guiding us, making us laugh, being our best friend. She had so much life, she was so independent and was faster than any of us while shopping. She was so generous with her time, wisdom, and anything she could give anyone they would have it. She was everyone’s Mom, Grandma, a friend who met her. A huge loss and we are forever broken.

So many have lost a loved one in this pandemic. People as young as 12 have died, people who were the wage earners for their families, people who had just reached retirement, people who were the respected elders in their families. The loss is just unfathomable.

So many of us have lost friends and family to this terrible pandemic. The cruel toll this disease has taken on our country has now cost 500,071 American lives. Let us pay tribute to them and never forget they were real people with lives, loves and dreams. May they Rest In Peace. And may those who have lost find some comfort.

What a nightmare! So many of these deaths could have been prevented with an adequate national response & so many could yet be prevented if folks would merely wear masks.

I’m so sad when I see how many people died in just a small space of time. Hopefully they’ll find a vaccine soon and we can go back to normal life.
